About this deal

They're based in convenient locations including supermarkets, newsagents and train stations. Plus they're often open late and on Sundays.

We left Rizmo for a little while and me and her younger sister (who is three, fully supervised) to have a play and try and evolve Rizmo to an adult. You repeat the same stages as above to get Rizmo to evolve again. We are huge fans of interactive toys in our house; I think a lot of kids are. I always think it is crazy what is available now compared to when I was a child. I would have gone nuts. I can see the pull of interactive toys, as it makes you really feel you are looking after something real! Especially, if it reacts to you and you can love and care for it. We have tested out a few on the blog in the past and we really thrilled to be reviewing Rizmo from Tomy. My eldest spied itimmediately in a very generous gift we were sent from Tomy this year and wanted to try it out straight away. When you are ready to stop playing with Rizmo you can swing him to sleep. Don’t forget to turn him off at his base to give him a real rest. The Rizmo instructions are really easy to follow and I won’t go into masses of details but give an overall summary of what Rizmo can do.The answer to this question is no. We did wonder this but once he has evolved he is an adult and that is that. Our Thoughts You will know when Rizmo is ready to evolve as his eyes will start to flash different colours. You must place him on a flat surface and give him lots of encouragement to evolve when his eyes turn white. It won’t take long and he will evolve into a kid . Kid Rizmo I was impressed with Rizmo, as I found the evolving side of the product really original and unique. It also took a long time for each evolving stage. You have to record at least 15 songs per stage and get 25 musical points (you hear this when you get one). My eldest and I sat down to test him and we actually didn’t get him to evolve until the next day! It took another day before we moved from toddler to adult.

We also noticed in all modes, Rizmo breaks wind and this made us giggle a lot! He also says “bon appetit” and my middle girl found this hilarious! Overall I liked Rizmo. He worked! He’s original and at his current price, he is worth that. He has a lot of loveable characteristics and can be cared for. I like the musical side, as allows children to be creative too. To choose the game you want to play you must press the button on top of Rizmo’s head. Change his eyes to the required game and swing him down to confirm. He will confirm your selection by saying ‘Ready Go!’. Little E absolutely loves her Rizmo, from baby form to the fully evolved grown-up she has loved interacting with it. She loved the challenge of collecting enough music points and singing songs for him to save. I think it took her about three days of completing tasks to make him a full grown-up. To get Rizmo to evolve you need to collect musical points which you gain by playing with it. You also need to have recorded a minimum of 15 songs/noises. When the eyes flash different colours you place Rizmo on a flat surface and when the eyes glow white you need to cheer and encourage Rizmo, through noise, to evolve. IF you don’t make enough noise then Rizmo will not evolve and will need playing with some more until he is ready to try again. How long does it take to evolve Rizmo?

Our Family of Sites

Rizmo is an interactive toy that can play 7 fun games with you. When you unbox him he is in baby form. He has to evolve twice to become fully grown. To make him evolve from a baby to a kid and then to finally fully grown you have to play with him. Every time you play with him you win a musical point. To be able to evolve Rizmo will need to collect 25 musical points and 15 recorded songs. Recording songs is one of Rizmo’s games. Baby Rizmo

Rizmo has been named in the Dream Toys Top 12 and should be very popular with kids this Christmas time. Aimed at children aged 6 years and over, Rizmo is a toy that transforms, grows and actually listens, learns and remembers! He has crashed down from outer space and is looking for lovely people to look after him! Kid Rizmo has a tail and a bigger tummy that you can see move when he is going to sleep. He plays the same games in this mode as he does in baby mode. Continue to feed him songs and play with him so that he will be able to evolve again for the last time. The Final Evolution – Grown-Up Rizmo You can get Rizmo in a variety of colours and you can look in the top of the box to find out which colour you have. What does Rizmo look like when you first get it? It’s a little bit of a shame he is recommended for kids aged 6 and over but I can see why. You have to be able to listen to him and follow instructions and he is delicate. I had to explain firmly to my excited 3 year old, not to yank on his legs and ears before he had evolved. When Rizmo arrives he is in baby form. He is a little ball of fluff, to interact with him you press his head button. His eyes change colour depending on the game you want to play. In this form, he has five different games to play. Playing With Baby RizmoItems that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be delivered to your nominated store. Rizmo has a pink colour and will dance to music! I wasn’t sure if this was automatic, as he started to move and dance before the music was on however. Rizmo will play a song and his chest light will change colour. You have to move him depending on the colour of his chest.

When fully evolved Rizmo has a light-up stomach and has gained two new play modes and he can also get very grumpy. The two new play modes are Pink which is dance mode and light blue which is a colour game. Rizmo can also get grumpy if ignored so you need to give him lots of love and attention. Can Rizmo be evolved again? If you’re worried about all the noise that Rizmo can make there is also a volume control setting that the children wouldn’t easily find. This is perfect if you need things a little quieter. We had so much fun watching Rizmo evolve, grow and change. I love that there are two extra games to play when you have him in full grown-up mode. I think it helps to keep the children interested in the toy. Once Rizmo is evolved to a grown-up that is the way he will stay. You can also play a game when his belly is blue. Move him side to side, up and down and clap and his belly will change colours, depending on what you do. It starts as a baby, which looks like a large cuddle ball with coloured eyes. It is quite cute and it sounds very cute!! Obviously we wanted to start to make Rizmo evolve to a child and to do this you have to feed him with music. A bell dings after you have played a game so you know you have a musical point. Rizmo Colour Meanings I wasn’t sure how little E would react to the baby form of Rizmo. I knew she would think the grown-up version was cute but I wasn’t sure about the younger version at all. It really is just like a ball of fluff. As soon as we took him out of the box she was captivated. This ball of fluff could do things and make cute sounds. It was challenging her to earn points and sing songs. She has never really experienced that with a toy before. Rizmo has three forms: baby, toddler and adult and you help him to evolve from one to another. He loves to get to know you and responds to touch, motion and sound. Once Rizmo has grown up fully he canrecord and play songs, and imitate music. It really is a musical toy, so great for children who love to sing and enjoy listening to different instruments. In this mode hold and swing Baby Rizmo. He will make laughing sounds and even talk to you in his funny language.
