We bought the Vango Odessey 400 specifically as we could comfortably stand up in it - nothing worse than crouching down - we are about 6ft tall. The Vango Odyssey 500 is made using Protex 3,000HH polyester that is durable. It is also waterproof making it ideal for all year round. The groundsheet is made using polyethylene 10,000HH that is comfortable and strong enough for pitching on almost all terrains. The factory taped seams on both the flysheet and groundsheet have been known to provide the best water tight seal. It also has an Airspeed Valve system for inflating airbeams with less effort. In any case, you have a manual double-action pump included, and one person can pitch it in under 10 minutes or so. I have included this tent in my list of best inflatable tents. Note that there is one short solid pole added to support a brim above the door so you have a dry entry design. Pre-Angled Beams - Achieve greater internal space than with a standard curve. But I would not use this tent in areas with snow. The mentioned TBS II system will stabilize it laterally, but the tent cannot withstand pressure on the roof.Ventilation isn’t so much of a problem with a traditional tent, but inflatable tents have been found to be a little more restrictive.Make sure the tent has a suitable air vent to allow generous air flow through the tent, enough for the number of people it's capable of sleeping, especially if camping during the summer.
