Over the past few weeks, I’ve put the HYSC210 through its paces on my lawn. I’ve used it for both heavy de-thatching in springtime as well as lighter scarifying in summer to remove moss and organic matter build up. I’ve also prepared a video review documenting my experiences using the scarifier so potential buyers can see it in action.

The effective width is an impressive 40cm. This makes work faster and easier. The engine has sufficient power to do this effortlessly and I never felt the Hyundai HYSC210 petrol aerator was underpowered or struggled. The raking setting could also be used following each lawn mowing to remove any grass cuttings that may be left behind by your mower.Adjusting the height does take some getting used to. There are no set heights, so it takes a little practice to know how many turns it takes to make the adjustment you need. This is no big deal, as once you have it set, you are good and set for the entire job. I think any garden tools are practical if they do the job they are designed to do with minimum amount of effort, and I can confirm that this Hyundai HYSC210 does not disappoint. Safety Features

Just bought the scarifier found it very easy to use took a few minutes to set up .I found it did a absolute fantastic job highly recommend it to anybody I bought this machine along With a petrol roller mower from Hyundai power equipment they were both delivered in two days and I was very pleased with the quality of both machines on first use I was very happy with the results from the scarifyer and raker I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to remove moss from their lawn with ease although the grass collector is a bit small I didn’t find this a problem at all and the overall results are amazing thanks Remember, the hard work is the actual scarifying and aerating, as doing this manually would not be practical and take forever to complete (and nowhere near as effective). I ended up raking the debris into piles before disposing in the compost heap. Some people will also use a leaf blower to blow the debris into piles before being removed.
