About this deal

From the moment the film began, I was captivated by the vibrant and dynamic animation style that sets the Spider-Verse apart. The kaleidoscope of colours and the fluidity of movement create a visual feast that is nothing short of breathtaking. The animation is not just a technical marvel. Still, it serves as a storytelling tool, enhancing the narrative and bringing the characters to life in a fresh and exhilarating way. That is the only issue anyone could have with this movie. The slowing down and leaving it hanging that is, not that more is to come. Because otherwise it really an amazing film. It's a PG certificate so a bit too much perhaps for the very young to take in. I will say though it doesn't have anything, even with all that the animation does, that should bother epileptics or anyone who can't handle flashing lights. I am in the latter group and was fine with it. So that was nice. Scratches, Score and The Music of the Multiverse– At only five minutes, we get a peek at what it took to score the film along with some of the musical choices in this one. Lyric Videos (1080p; 4:33): Annihilate by Mero Boomin, Swae Lee, Lil Wayne, Offset; Calling by Metro Boomin, Nav, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie with Swae Lee.

And the score, oh boy, the score makes full use of the entire surround scape, dynamics and separation, it is astonishingly immersive, together with all the above places you right in the centre of it all. Incredible. A new animated Spider-Man movie. Sequel to 2018's 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse.' This will not make much sense if you've not seen that first film, so go and do it now if you haven't. Designing Spiders and Spots– There are a lot of characters in this film and we get a look at just a sampling of them all. Can you say “massive undertaking?” Obscure Spiders and Easter Eggs– Six minutes probably isn’t enough time for us to get all the references hidden in this film. But it’s a start. Suffice it to say you could watch this movie ten times and still probably miss a few of these cleverly hidden items. If they want to wait for the Blu-ray and 4K UHD versions of Across the Spider-Verse, they will be released on September 5. One of the film's standout features is its introduction of new Spider-People from different dimensions, each with unique abilities and quirks. This expands the Spider-Verse and allows for delightful interactions and unexpected alliances. The chemistry between the characters is palpable, adding depth to the story and making it a joy for longtime fans like myself and newcomers to the Spider-Man mythos. I’mma Do My Own Thing” Interdimensional Destiny– If you’ve not been introduced to films that have a multiverse, here’s a crash course for you. Across the Comics-Verse– Essentially a look at how the comics were used as inspiration for this film and how they managed to cram everything into this movie. Lyric Videos– Three total: “Annihilate” by Metro Boomin, Swae Lee, Lil Wayne and Offset, and “Calling” by Metro Boomin, Nav, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Swae Lee.

Even so, an amazing movie experience. Part three could be a while. No eta at the time of writing. All good things to those who wait. Across the Comics-Verse (1080p; 8:03): Hiring many of the artists from the comic books to help design characters and worlds. The summer success and popularity of Across the Spider-Verse is not without controversy, though. Several animators came forward with claims of unsustainable working conditions imposed by producer Phil Lord during the making of the film, including numerous revisions and 11-hour workdays, seven days a week, forcing 100 animators to leave the project as a result. Viewers also complained about sound mixing issues during the movie's first week of its theatrical run, saying they had trouble hearing the dialogue over the music, although the studio later fixed the issue. Plot: What’s it about? Video: How’s it look? Audio: How’s it sound? Supplements: What are the extras? The Bottom Line Plot: What’s it about?

Detail is perfect, you’d expect as much being held in the digital realm, with everything being pinpoint accurate representing the artists’ ‘pen’ without missing a beat. I’mma Do My Own Thing” Interdimensional Destiny (1080p; 8:26): A look at the many questions Miles faces in the movie. In the first installment, the movie centered on Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) who is thrust into a universe of endless possibilities inside the multi-verse where met new Spider characters along the way including Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman (Hailee Steinfeld). In this sequel, the film follows Morales just as much as it centers on Stacy as the two young adults try and understand their powers and that the multi-verse exists while keeping it all secret from their loved ones. It's a great parallel story where each character can learn from one another in different ways. You want eye candy? You want eye popping colour? You want one of the best video presentations ever?
