This is the perfect book for any mood, I have loved following these boards over the last couple of years and am so glad to have found some of my favourite and those that mean the most enclosed in this book. While the text is simultaneously spare and profound, most of the story is told through Gómez’s cozy paper ­collages, with little lost in the smaller edition. The lovely simplicity of Gail Gibbons’s art is perfect for toddlers, but her text is too long for them.
