About this deal

Mixed in there are also plenty of allusions to other films: there is the rotten corpse using the flesh and blood of the living to reconstitute itself from Hellraiser; the animated severed hand from Evil Dead II; the spider creature formed of a disembodied head from The Thing; and even the shirt burst and ripped by flexing muscles from the Incredible Hulk. When he’s given three unsolvable case files, he embarks on a journey that shakes his cynicism to its core. If there’s one thing horror fans love the most, it’s a solid scare that gets the adrenaline pumping.

Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell" ist im Mediabook bei Midori Impuls erschienen und beinhaltet den Film uncut auf DVD. Joined by stoic psychic Mizuguchi ( Masahiro Kai), they head to the allegedly haunted house that belonged to Shinji’s father. were marketed as Evil Dead sequels, and Japan’s Evil Dead Trap, whose similarities to Raimi’s work begin and end with the title. The reason I wanted to make this movie was because I wanted to be like Bruce Cambpell’s Ash from The Evil Dead, and I wanted to kick zombies around like him. The movie’s original name, a mouthful though it may be, is equally beguiling: Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell. There is a feeling that the film is trying to be sillier than it manages to be, especially with the overuse of blood, which looks more like tomato purée than anything that could come out of a human being. Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell" ist ein kleiner Splatterfilm aus Japan, der eine leider etwas kurze Laufzeit von 63 Minuten aufweist.

Clocking in at a mere 62 minutes it's a short affair, which is just as well as the majority of the movie is set inside a single room of a small cramped house. The Japanese Evil Dead is not just a descriptor; that’s the title the movie became known as internationally.

Although that is of course the whole appeal of this film, which plays out its absurd plotting and over-the-top gestures with a sincerity that only adds to the sense of old-school authenticity. A true horror oddity, Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell is worth a watch, especially if you’re a fan of bizarre cinema… and Evil Dead! In this Korean film, a horror web show crew plans a live stream event in one of the country’s most infamous abandoned hospitals.

However, that doesn’t stop a cop on the cusp of retirement and a slew of paranormal experts from trying to get to the bottom of a series of bizarre activities plaguing a Buenos Aires neighborhood. Shot on video in 95, edited in 2005, released in 2009, and finally, finally available on a modern digital format in 2017, I can't believe it took me til 2020 to have an opportunity to abuse my eyeballs with this shit!Of course, if you’ve seen more than a couple of horror movies, or even the prologue to this one, you know it isn’t entirely empty. It was released independently in Japan in 2012, and then a slightly altered version (indeed, the ‘complete edition’ found on this DVD release) enjoyed a brief theatrical release in 2014, followed by the official Japanese DVD. And it works in large part because of the obvious enthusiasm and love of the genre, especially the Evil Dead franchise, that went into it. While the narrative bides its time unveiling the truth behind Jane Doe’s battered body, it’s heavily steeped in witchcraft. They invade like a viral infection via technology, plunging the globe into hopeless despair and death.

Exklusiv nur bei Cover A (das Artwork stammt übrigens von Graham Humphreys) ist eine handsignierte Autogrammkarte des Regisseurs Shinichi Fukazawa enthalten. Well executed scares, clever twists, and earnest performances by Brian Cox and Emile Hirsch give this supernatural haunter serious heft. A family in a rural home struggles to survive after mom Mawarni Suwono’s long battle with illness dried up all the royalties from her once-lucrative music career.

After a basic opening scene that sets the scene by depicting the murder of a young woman in a basement, the film takes a little while to get going again as we meet the titular character and get the excuse to go back to the house, where all hell breaks loose pretty quickly. Bryan Bertino, a filmmaker with a reputation for bleak horror, creates unrelenting dread and evil in the vacuum of loss here. Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell markets itself as "The Japanese Evil Dead," and the influence couldn't be more obvious. The horror is intrinsic to a family coping with grief and loss, but it’s heightened to a horrifying degree thanks to Bertino’s distinct style and twisted vision of evil.
