About this deal

A fantastic fragrance and much smoother than the original Kalemat, whose oud is more pronounced and bitter, and which has fruitiness that adds to the bitterness. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. Don't spray this more than once though, it is very potent and it stays and stays, even on your clothes.

My first thought was "saliva" - the same kind of saliva smell that I got from Arabian Gardens, and Suki Weil. I avoid to spray it on coats or jackets because the stuff will stick to the garments for days ruining my chances of enjoying a real perfume. At first when I first tried it, I thought this was a light fragrance which only smelled like a subdued ashy scent with some kind of sweetness in the background. What is the luxury version of this, there must be something that smells like this but 10x more luxurious, and more expensive, and does anybody know if there is something that smells like this with a tiny bit of smokiness, (not tobacco or cigarettes, but like you go out and there is the snell of burnt wood/paper in the atmosphere or a distant BBQ sought of smoke), this one of my favourites. Whether worn for special occasions or as a daily indulgence, Kalemat Arabian Oud is a fragrance that will make you feel like royalty, exuding confidence and sophistication.

Sprayed it today and it’s very similar to the original Kalemat except for the fresh basil note and a smokier nuance. On the drydown I smell hints of amber and vanilla as well but mostly it's still the dark chocolate oud. Very nice frankincense and vanilla, the basil note tones down the vanilla and amber sweetness making it very tolerable and non cloying, lasts forever, oud is wonderful and also tones the sweetness down, syrupy and luscious, the only problem with this perfume is the sprayer, mists out and at the end it squires the last bit of perfume. It wears quite linear but with different facets moving in and out of focus (the florals and the frankincense, mainly), yet it does seem to get gradually more dry over time with the tobacco-leaf note stepping up front to merge with the honey. Perhaps honeyed, perhaps fruity, perhaps vanilla, but it doesn't smell like anything edible, thankfully. The oud also acts strongly here and the other mentioned notes are for support and adding more mystery to the composition.

Kalemat Black is like a dark chocolate truffle mixed with beautifully aged red wine that is baking in the oven. On male skin, the wood and incense notes come forward, on female skin (mine), it’s a fluffy honeyed amber-vanilla with spice. The top notes of lavender, elemi, pineapple, and melon create a fresh and invigorating opening, while the heart notes of cedarwood, cashmere wood, and amber add a warm and rich depth to the scent. The fragrance opens with a burst of invigorating freshness, where zesty bergamot and crisp apple intertwine. Moreover, while I receive plenty of compliments while wearing Kalemat, the compliments are off-the-chain when wearing Kalemat Black.

It’s breath-taking and delicious in winter and will definitely turn heads, but (like Fancy) it makes me gag in summer. For a Limited time only Arabian Oudh Kalemat fragrance is invigorating, it reconstitutes a sensual and attractive space, within which one can escape the pressures it generates attractive, and makes you smile again. It smells like some kind of sweet baked stuff" And the colleagues sitting next to me answered right away "It's him! Besides this fragrance smelling absolutely fan-tas-tic, it's a great performer (fills a room) that lasts a solid 18-24 hours on my skin without fail. However, I would never actually wear this to work; I would reach that blush-worthy stage before my workday is finished.I do have both Black kalemat(sehar kalemat) and kalemat original version, i felt both of them are almost produce similar smell, other than the over projection of Oud in black kalemat. The amber and incense heavy vanilla are the most prominent notes while note being too sweet or cloying .
