The other issue with the PD705 revolves around its creation. Several other electronic drum pads on the market have the exact same design, down to the knobs, shell, and display. Conclusion The Feel menu includes the usual range of parameters to set how each pad (and trigger input) responds. Sensitivity, Curve, Threshold and Fixed Level settings allow each pad to be tailored to your playing style. In the Output menu, Main+Phones, Aux+Phones, Phones Only, or one of the three Kit FX engines (more later) can be selected as output destinations. You can also set the MIDI note sent from each pad.

You can now preview and import samples via USB in any major bitrate or sample rate (44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88kHz, 96kHz, 16 or 24 bit). The Strike MultiPad boasts a whopping 32GB internal storage drive, allowing you to bring all the custom samples you’d like to your next gig. When the blue Firmware screen appears, let go of the buttons, and press the main encoder to start the firmware update.Another great aspect of the Alesis Strike MultiPad percussion pad is how well it transitions from the stage to the studio. With the addition of the Alesis Strike MultiPad, my rig finally feels complete and allows me to be in control in ways I never imagined. Whether it’s live, in the studio, or at home, my creativity starts with Alesis."
