If you record files on the SD Card that is installed in your Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+, then those files are not accessible to your computer, even if your Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+ is attached to your computer. at 120Hz requires HDMI 2.1 due to the extreme bandwidth required. Portability is sadly out the question for now, so I would suggest looking into internal capture cards such as the AVerMedia Live Gamer 4K (review) or Elgato’s own 4K60 Pro (review coming soon) which performed far better than the 4K60 S+. HDCP needs to be turned off for Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+ to be able to capture from a PlayStation. When you are recording and reach the end of the card capacity, Elgato Game Capture 4K60 S+ will leave 90MB or so free so it can properly finish off the file. Afterwards the recording simply stops, but it will not be corrupted.
